Zone Summer FAQ

Zone Summer is a five-day experience for your 1st-6th graders. It includes a dynamic, Broadway-style live production, energetic worship, large-scale demonstrations with biblical teaching, games, crafts, snacks, outdoor activities, and more.

It’s all happening at the Lutz location Monday, June 12 - Friday, June 16, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the All Day option available at the Lutz and South Tampa locations. 


Want to extend the Zone Summer Experience for your kiddo? The All Day option is available at an additional cost from 7 AM to 6 PM at multiple locations. It includes lunch, snacks, and interactive activities. All Day will take place at the Lutz and South Tampa locations. The South Tampa location will bus to and from Lutz every morning and afternoon.

  • Early Bird Price: $65 (half day), $300 (all day) Jan 1 - May 7
  • Regular Cost: $75 (half day), $310 (all day) May 8 - June 11
  • Final Cost: $85 (half day), $320 (all day) June 12 (Day of)


 A must: Their name tag, and comfortable clothes/shoes. 

 A plus: Their Zone Summer backpack, given at registration (preferably with their name on it), a Zone lanyard with pins for trading, an extra snack, and a water bottle (with their name on it) if desired. 

*A snack and water will be provided during the Half Day event, but some kids may want to have another on hand. We cannot accommodate allergies or preferences.

**All Day may have specific requests based on activities. Those will be emailed prior to the event.


If you registered before June 1, you will receive a wristband with a unique code on in that your child must wear during the event. A matching parent pick-up card will be provided for each registrant and will be required to show at pick up. We highly encourage that you take a photo of this card in case of loss and share it with any other adult that may be picking up your child during the week. 

If you register on June 1 or after, you can pick up your name tags on the first day of Zone Summer at the drop-off location you have selected on your registration form.

Yes! Children entering 1st grade in the 2023-2024 school year are welcome to attend.

Yes! Children entering 6th grade in the 2023-2024 school year are welcome to attend.

Our heart is for every student to be able to attend Zone Summer 2023, and we cannot accomplish this without generous givers. Every donation means more students may experience one of the biggest events we do all year. Not only does the financial aid fund help bridge the gap between what Grace Family Church invests in day camp and what parents pay, helping to keep camp affordable for everyone, but it also allows us to provide partial and full scholarships to students who would not be able to afford their enrollment.

You may make a donation through our giving portal by selecting “Zone Summer Donation.”

Our heart is for every student to be able to attend Zone Summer 2023, we don’t want cost to be the reason a student can’t attend and we want to help. Please apply for financial aid here.

Lutz Half Day FAQ

The Zone Summer Half Day Event will be at the Lutz Location only.

  • Half Day Drop Off: 8:30 AM
  • Half Day Start: 9:00 AM
  • Half Day Pick Up Doors Open: 12:05 PM
  • Pick Up Begins: 12:30 PM

Drop off begins at 8:30 AM. No child should be dropped off and left unattended before then. 

Please be sure your child is wearing their name tag before entering. Parents/guardians may drop their child off in the car line or park and walk in with their child. Parents are only allowed to enter the lobby area during drop off. 

At pick up, parents/guardians are required to park and enter the Lutz main lobby. The Lutz lobby doors open at 12:05 PM for parents to watch the production from the tiered parent section, then pick up will begin at 12:30 PM. To ensure safety, parents/guardians must bring the matching pick up card to leave with their child. We encourage you to send a photo of the card to anyone who will be picking up your child during the week.


Children who arrive past 9:50 AM will need to be dropped off at the Information Station in the main lobby so they can be escorted to their correct group.

Parents/guardians who need to pick up their child early from Zone Summer Half Day can head to the Information Station, located in the Lutz main lobby and we will arrange pick up for your child. Early pick up is only available until 11:30 AM at the Lutz location.


Lost & Found will be located in the main lobby of the Lutz location and available to all parents/children during drop off and pick up each day.

Lutz All Day FAQ

All Day is available at an additional cost from 7 AM to 6 PM at the Lutz and South Tampa locations and includes lunch, and snacks, and extends our dynamic Zone Summer Experience into the afternoon. 

Lutz All Day drop off begins at 7 AM in the designated All Day drop off area. At 8:30 the All Day Group will be escorted to the sanctuary and seated for the event. Children who arrive past 9:50 AM will need to be dropped off at the Information Station in the main lobby so they can be escorted to their correct group.

Lutz All Day pick up is anytime between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the designated All Day pick up area. We are unable to accommodate any pick ups after 6:00 PM.


We are unable to accommodate special requests for snacks and lunch. Please be sure to send your child with a packed lunch, and snacks if necessary. If it needs to stay cold, please include an ice pack.


Please print and fill out this form and drop medication for the whole week in its original packaging on the first day of Zone Summer with the All Day staff. Medication MUST be left with the All Day staff by a parent, and cannot be brought by the child themselves.

At drop off: please see our All Day Staff in the Gym of the Lutz Location, please provide parent ID for verification.

At pick up: please see our All Day Staff in the Lutz main sanctuary located by the crosses at each side of the room, please provide parent ID for verification.


South Tampa All Day FAQ

All Day is available at an additional cost from 7 AM to 6 PM at the Lutz and South Tampa locations. It includes lunch and snacks and extends our dynamic Zone Summer Experience into the afternoon. Busing to and from the morning event at the Lutz location will be provided.


Drop off begins at 7 AM and ends promptly at 8 AM. Bussing will begin immediately after drop off in order to get to the Lutz location in time for the event.

Pick up is anytime between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the South Tampa location. We are unable to accommodate any pickups after 6:00 PM.

We are unable to accommodate special requests for snacks and lunch. Please be sure to send your child with a packed lunch, and snacks if necessary. If it needs to stay cold, please include an ice pack.
